The Director of DEMECON Paul McNamara (VIC) has a collective 80+ years of experience in Engineering & Demolition.

• Paul is a degree qualified Project Manager, with a MSc. from Lancaster University, and a long-term member of the Project Management Institute (PMI). Paul is the Principal Partner, operating from our Melbourne base.
  He has broad-based Project & Programme Management expertise across a diversity of Engineering disciplines and industries.
  He is also a Registered Building Practitioner with an Unrestricted Class Demolition License.


• Bob runs NSW and Queensland Operations, where he has had a long-term involvement with the NSW Demolition Contractors Association, including 10 years as President. He was heavily involved in the introduction of Demolition Licensing in NSW and has also been a Director of the Australian Demolition Contractors Association for over 6 years.
  Bob also has extensive experience working on remediation projects and dealing with contaminated, prescribed, regulated and hazardous wastes; including various Chemicals, Heavy Metals and many types & forms of Asbestos. He is currently the NSW representative on the Australian Standards Committee for Demolition (AS 2601 – The Demolition of Structures) and has also acted as an Expert witness for SafeWork NSW.
