Coal Stacker Dismantling – Mackay, Queensland
Demecon were commissioned to act as Site-Representatives and Nominated Supervisors in the Demolition & Removal Works of a 600Te Coal Stacker near to Mackay, Queensland, on behalf of the Principal Contractors for the Engineering Works.
All Demolition and Site Works were conducted under the auspices of Demecon’s Unrestricted Demolition Licence, utilizing a 280Te Hitachi Sumitomo Crawler-Crane in conjunction with a 200Te Terex All-terrain mobile.
This commission involved oversight of all Demolition-related activities, including review of Construction Management Plans & associated Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS) as well as the related Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documentation, for the duration of the Works.
The Demolition site was subsequently site was handed back, incident-free and in a safe & timely manner, to the Client’s Site Operations Team.
